Black car pulls up first
The footage appeared to have been retrieved from the petrol station's CCTV.
It showed a black car with a Malaysia registration plate pulling up bonnet-first into a parking lot at the petrol station.
Silver car pulls up next
About 30 seconds later, a silver car pulled up and parked behind the black car.
Four men with machetes exited the silver car.
Their presence startled petrol station patrons, who began to run away.
Started hacking at black car
Three of the men started hacking away at the windows of the black car after failing to open the driver and rear passenger door on the right.
Shots apparently fired
Within seconds, shots could apparently be heard ringing out.
At least four gunshot sounds were audible.
Attackers flee
The four men could be seen running away.
One man took off on foot, while the remaining three got back into the silver car, which drove off.
At the same time, a man could be seen emerging from the left rear passenger door of the black car without shoes on and running away.
Men in black car emerge
Two other men emerged from the driver and front passenger seat of the black car.
The front passenger could be seen raising what appeared to be a gun at the silver car that was driving off.
Both men then got back into the black car and drove off.
Another person in the back seat of the black car then shut the rear door that was left open as the car moved off.
The man without shoes could be seen returning to the scene and retrieving items from the ground.
The black car then pulled out of the petrol station.
